The 350-foot-tall boulder is surrounded by geology harking back to the Grand Canyon, which heightens the drama of the setting.  The atmosphere is likely one of the harshest on the planet – Yemen doesn’t have any everlasting rivers. They as an alternative depend on wadis, seasonal water-filled canals.
